This is a natural opal from Vernon, Canada. These stones are very rare. The mine that produced this stone is no longer in operation as it was not profitable to dig for these stones since a stone with fire was one-in-a-million.
That makes this a great edition to any collection.
This stone is a boulder opal, it has the original host matrix and has not been stabilized.
