Description
A stunning baroque pearl in the twists of driftwood textured ring.
The ring was made using the lost wax casting method and is made using a master casting alloy, primarily made with brass and copper.
On the inside of the ring, I have also added a solid sterling silver liner. This is a solid sheet of silver, soldered in place, not a plating.
The Pearl: I selected a vintage pearl. This pearl is full of character. It is oddly shaped, and has quite the range of colors. I like to use vintage pearls when I can. They feel more like they have a history behind them. Even though I don't know what story this pearl has, I like to pretend that it has already lead one exciting life and is ready to move on to the next great adventure!
The pearl is half drilled and held in place by the traditional peg/epoxy method. It is roughly 11mm in diameter.
Size: 7.5
One of a kind
