Description
A variation on my rose thorn ring. The only major changing being the use of sapphires instead of rubies.
This ring uses 12 natural blue sapphires, of varying shades, and grades, from denim blue to deep dark blue. I wanted to get a more organic look and feel with this ring so I hand picked each stone to complement the next and to create a subtle gradation of color from light to dark across the ring.
Each sapphire is approx 2.5mm for a total carat weight of 1.1 carats.
The ring is solid sterling silver, buffed to a glowing polish.
