Description
A stunning opal, hunkered down into a protective sterling silver cradle with a rim of solid 18k yellow gold securing it in place.
The opal is a real eye catcher! Very rare. This is an opal from a small region of Honduras in Central America. The opal has a rare "Spider web" pattern with plentiful fire in all colors radiating through the little cells like a game of peek-a-boo! This is a solid opal and is NOT hydrophane (it does not soak up water and turn clear). I have had it in my stock now for over three years and there are no sighs of hazing or dryness.
The opal is 4.6 carats.
The top of the ring is hand textured and features 7 natural white SI grade diamonds. The top measures 21.7mm x 14.4mm.
The ring is a size 7.This is a one of a kind opal and ring.
