I created this locket after the idea came to me while asleep. This locket or container or secrete compartment pendant (or whatever you'd like to call it) is not made from a commercially manufactured blank like most of the lockets now available on etsy. Rather This hand crafted piece features a dome of copper forged by hand with tiny rows of little domes running over the surface. The main piece is hand crafted from solid sterling silver. The finished pendant has been aged and then polished to a beautiful shine showing off the concentric patterns and the rustic hand made feel of the pendant.
Inside the dome there is space to hold a small picture a keepsake or even a small folded note to ourself.
Some cultures have used these as poison compartments of snuff pendants however I do not intend for this to be used to contain any type of liquid or powder s it is not air or water tight.
