Shasta and I decided to make each other our wedding rings. We each designed and thought out exactly what we wanted and the other person made the ring.
Shasta's ring features a one of a kind opal: This is a triplet with Idaho Opal as the base and a lab created alexandrite cap. This makes for an incredibly durable ring. The side stones are white topaz. The metal is Sterling silver.
My ring is a landscape ring. It features a rendition of Mt. Shasta which was part of the skyline where I grew up in Redding California. And the other side features the Mesa and a Natural Arch a reminder of where Shasta grew up in Grand Junction Colorado. Later I will set it with a montana sapphire which was mined by my grandmother herself many years ago. The ring is made from sterling silver and copper.
