I love the way this ring turned out! fun and playful and very organic. To me the opal is sprouting out of the ground in this ring!
Rustic weave like texture hand applied to the band with a stitch of copper wire on either side of a blossom. The flowering setting holds a natural Ethiopian Opal from Welo. The 6mm round faceted stone has a brilliant fire! A very High quality stone which I hand picked out of a lot of hundreds for its fire.
The band is 4mm wide and is solid sterling silver. The copper stitch is cut off on the inside and has been smoothed out. The blossom setting is very unique and holds the stone tightly and protects the opal well.
The opal is 6mm in diameter and has excellent fire and weighs about 0.5 carats.
